and playing on here before getting ready for work!! Also have to tidy up in the kitchen as a plumber is coming today to look at the sink and will hopefully clear up a long standing blockage problem with it!! My life is sooooooooooooo exciting......

It's sunny here...for the moment! I have to prepare for a recital, and this afternoon, the spooky pony is getting a mani/pedi and a massage. I'm a little worried, because after a while fine, he was limping again for a few steps on Tuesday. But yesterday he was trotting happily around the field again??

See what the massage person says, and maybe the vet tomorrow.

oh im having a sh*t day, from what vet said archie may never be sound without pain relief. collect him later today and he has to go on 6 weeks box rest!!!!! i think he'll die of boredom.

so thats it im stuck with a no good horse who is too big to be a companion, who i cannot afford to keep, and who no-one will want ,......great!!!

huh, i'm having a crappy morning so far...

our house-buyers have decided to send an electrician round before they'll sign anything...

... he's here... he's blatently their friend... and he's trying to give them reason to get money off... he reckons our electrics need replacing... total fricking lie.

i knew they would do this, 5 days away from exchanging contracts... grrrrrr. we cannot budge a penny on price (they have already got the house for 50k less than it's worth) otherwise we can't buy our new house... sob howl sniff sob...

Hellooo!

Well as predicted it's BOILING here in Roma! We went to Pompeii yesterday (AMAZING and well worth the trip), but accidentally got on the wrong train to come back and ended up being fined 37.70Euros... We were NOT impressed.

This morning we walked up to the Vatican and St Peter's square. Queues were ENORMOUS to get into St Peter's so we will be going back early tomorrow morning to try and go round the Vatican before going to the airport at 3pm. So today we went on an open bus tour of the city, stopping off at Trevi Fountain to get more AMAZING icecream. That's another four flavours (we didn't have ANY yesterday!).

Back at the apartment now for a siesta before going out this evening. We're planning on a boat trip, dinner out, and a wander around Rome!
 
Ooo, I've been to Pompei, isn't it incredible! And seen the Trevi fountain, though you had to fight so hard just to get close we nearly started throwing people in! Enjoy it, it's a brilliant city, we did it in about 4 days and never stopped rushing about the whole time, should have had longer there really. Vatican is amazing too.
 
sorry to here about archie hopeyou get a full explaination when you go to get him.

i am having a shitty day as well. had a big bust up with my dad because of my brother and his girl friend. he is such a selfish git sometimes and wee brother continues to disrupt our house even although he is in prison. life suchs as if i don't have enough problems

and didn't get home until nearly 7 - then obviously had to go straight out and feed the coblet and the BGL and then walk the mutts!!

Just need to take the coblets hay out to her - in about 20 mins and that will be me finished. Just trying to decide what to have for supper.......

well asked about all those supplements and other treatments that were recommended and vet say no to all of them??!!

he had injection of some description into both pasterns.
on one satchet of danilon a day for 3 days.
needs one injection a week of cartrophen for 3 weeks.

but they are still not sure if he will actually be sound after this, apparently its quite bad!!!

he is currently in stable getting knickers in a knot so i will be stabling my mare at night to keep him company.
