I had a lie in this morning, gonna watch Jeremy Kyle and then shower and head out to pony. Not sure if my sharer's feeling better (she's been ill

) so dunno whether I'm riding today.

Then I start back teaching tonight.... yay.... 3.30 - 7.30... Easing back in gently after ages off!
 
blimey you lot are all busy!! Very sunny here but I'm still lolling in bed.....can't ride. can't go to work and feel miserable cos I got whiplash

Another lovely day...I love these chilly mornings and sunny days although I struggled to see where I was going this morning in my car as the sun was so bright and my windscreen so cold and steamed up!!

I scrubbed my yard at home yesterday...lifted all my mats and washed them down and cleaned the floors and walls...cleaned out the trough and dug out some mud from the gateway...messy sods. Today, I'm taking it easy...just a bit of housework...bleugh and a gentle ride on lami pony.

Done naff all yet this morning, other than check my horses in the field and fill up waters. Off to ride for someone in an hour, then got my usual twenty mins walking with Starla to look forward to

Im off till monday so have had a lie in today. (much to very bored dogs disgust) just contemplating getting up as I have my first lesson with flatwork woman in months at 1pm so ned to get neddy and me organised. I think its calms/alcohol i need. very spooky pony

well... my day will mostly be spent... can you guess.... yes, waiting to fricking exchange.

i am rather stressed... and my OH is stuck at work (since yesterday, must be something exciting happening as it's a riot duty) with my car, and his car scares me... which means i can't take toddler child to nursery. instead he's clambering on the sofa in a moody cos i won't let him scribble on the walls with felt tips...

oh, and i just found a washing machine full of wet clothes that i must have forgotten about... and it now stinks... and needs rewashing... which has scuppered my 'lets get everything washed today' plans...

oh, and one more thing to moan about, my parcel tape which i need for packing has rolled under the sofa, and i'm too blinking fat/rounded to reach down to get it... anyone want to offer to fish it out?

um... must end on a positive... um... the sun is shining here. and the dog isn't annoying me. and the postman is HOT. and today he's in shorts....

It's sunny here but very cold! I'm feeling a bit guilty at leaving the arab out overnight without a rug but I don't think her last owner would have been putting a rug on her so I don't want to mollicoddle her. It's been lovely and warm during the day though so I'm not feeling too bad yet. She's definitely not coming in overnight yet though! Had a great jump last night despite being followed by three loose ponies! She was brill though and just looked the first one, then she was fine, which has helped my confidence as I'd lost it a bit from not doing much jumping recently. Her boyfriend is leaving the yard on sat so all the yard staff are on alert in case she gets a bit panicky but as she's in the field and quite used to him leaving withouth her I think she'll be absolutely fine
 
Bright and breezy here today- wish I felt the same. Last few days of riding during the day before back to Uni and hard slog. Not to mention housework

Morning, lovely sunshine here in Yorkshire too, sat here at my desk at work wondering what to do at the weekend as in riding wise, no competitions but wondering if I should go for a lesson or not....but then I'm kinda spent up until I get paid, hmmm decisions decisions.

Toddler child tried to find the tape, but got even grumpier. i've done something i swore i'd never do... i've plonked him in front of the tv to entertain him whilst i ring solicitors/estate agents/husband... i'm expecting social services to knock on the door any minute... "paddington bear as a babysitter?" gah, i'm going to hell.

ClipClopPop : sending you +ve thoughts that you do exchange today. Also do please explain to your toddler what 'moving house' means. At a similar age T's best friend moved house, and we were designated to help on moving day so a lot of the converstaion was eg 'and on Friday we shall go to K's house to help them move house'. T piped up 'We will have to push very hard then won't we' - poor girl was very worried and thought we had to physically move the house itself!

Slinky I would love to join you for F&C on the beach but you're too far away

Am at work, is sunny outside, dog has been walked, I am bored but very conscious of a large box of stock that has arrived and I should unpack.

Yesterday I went for a hack and it was nice, daughter also went to ride another ickle tricky pony and did very well, and the lady that owns her would like her to ride her a couple of times a week, so now she has 2 little ones to exercise, somehow we have to squeeze it all in....wish it was the summer holidays again.

Today after school daughter has riding lesson where Nicki85's ride Maggie is kept (the one that got left in the field by the livery yard), so I have put an apple in the car for her, and if I get told off (RS peeps not supposed to feed treats) I shall take great delight in saying I have permission.

well im back from my hack, which was ok had a few hairy moments due to scary plastic bag and person going up a ladder.

clipcloppop- glad to hear you've finally exchanged, house looks lovely massive garden enjoy.

ive just had lunch and am now debating when to clean archies winky it aint a pretty sight and when to clean water trough.
 
well farrier called was supposed to coming sunday but had time and was in area so done him today which is great.

thats great news that she has sold to someone you know and to a good home. it makes all the difference no matter how difficult the sale is. you will at least have peace of mind knowing she will be alright. have a hug from me at this sad time and wish her good luck with her new mum from me
 
Morning all oh whoops no its nearly evening.

Had a gobsmacking start to the day Saddler came yesterday 9:30 said I only needed a minor adjustment (OH disagrees I need major renovation tsk tsk!) had a phone call this morning its ready.

Went out for the day to Courts Gardens in Westbury had lunch in a nice pub and then..... drove home via the saddlers so we could collect my saddle.

Its been glorious here so have walked the dogs and did some more washing and tidied up the dogs toys from the garden so the lawn could be cut - just off out to fed the neds and then in for a quick change and bath etc before going out with my parents for a thai meal later.
