!! Well done on riding every day - not always as easy to do as it looks!!

I am going to get back into my 'winter' riding habit of riding in the morning - our school gets busy winter evenings and when its dark and cold I just want to to go in the warm and so do the neds!!

Just been out for a ride - its so [****] it gets dark at 7.30 now! and just had a slow walk round the village amazing way to unwind after a [****] conference all day!! now boiled eggs on toast!

Yes, getting dark here about 7.30pm too!!! Must get OH to put lights up for the school, as it's no fun,...well, it can be, but not the kind of fun you want on a dark , windy, freezing cold night!!!

Really hoping neice and horse get on - she sounds perfect just hope she is!! Would be nice for my neice to have a schoolmistress to do X country on and get her confidence up. Sister has spoken to a coupkle of people who know horse from PC etc and our RI knows her and its all good.

My friend uses magnetic boots on her old TB SJ who has spavin and general old age stiffness - work well on her and means she doesn't have bute. Horse is now 25 and she has been using them for about 7/8 years. I would definately use them on mine. Dog has a magnetic collar and its brill!!
grin.gif

That sounds very promising. It's good if you know people who know the horse, as at least you get a good insight into how it is

Tikino - I haven't used magnetic boots so can't really give you any advise on those, sorry. I do know that some people swear by them, and they are supposed to be good for humans, bracelets etc.

I suppose they are a bit expensive to buy, just to see if they work!!
