Morning all!

Off to work in a minute, have a hell of a day coming up.... I start at 8.30 and will finally finish at 7.30/8pm tonight... Get a grand total of 1 1/2hours break from 2 - 3.30... woohoo! Still, it pays the bills and enables me to have Wednesdays off!

Saw some of the hunt this morning - looked amazing against the fog and the sunrise!! Wish I could go - damn work and damn not having a horse who would be upto to it!

Morning all. Just found out OH has swine flu *oink oink* so I'm heading out to get him some tammy flu tonight. Hope he doesn't pass it on to me as he can't drive and Belle would have to go onto full livery for a week (I'm so caring I know!). I do hope he gets better soon though, he really isn't well (obviously).

Had a brill ride last night, went past those dreaded goats and she stopped and started going backwards, so I took the advice of people on here and made her walk backwards towards them, she obviously was unhappy going backwards but I kept her going until I wanted to turn around. We had to do it a few times but eventually she decided forward was better and walked straight past the goats! Battle one to me!!

morning all just got back from first job only four more to go , know how you feel about seeing hunt i saw a lady hacking out in the morning dew and wished i was her never mind weekend not so far away.

I'm off for a hack later with my YO, which will be nice. I havent ridden out in company for so long!
I left my keys (car key, house key, yard key) in OH's car this morning so he's having to drive them back to me... which hasnt put him in the best of moods to start the day. Ooops.

Morning all, had a bit of a lie in, just slurping my coffee and then heading off to do the horses, poo pik, maybe move some of the clutter I don't use now up to the other storage area for the winter, and then head out for a hack.
Going to have a acohol free night tonight to get ready for tomorrows drinking session

I'm so jealous of everyone saying they've got lovely weather! It's warm here but grey and threatening to rain. An I can't ride tonight anyway cos OH got swine flu and I've got to get home to feed, water and wash him, lol. (he wants a bath but I won't let him go in until I'm there too just in case he falls asleep)

Bumped into some very , very odd people on my hack tonight. HAD to be when I was on my own without my mobile

Well!!

Today a body has been found about 5 minutes from my yard so theres police everywhere , and I was pretty stupid to go out on my own to be fair

But I was on the home stretch and stayed on the farm so I was never furthur than ten minutes away from everyone as our yard is central to all the tracks.
Anywho, a greenish colour subaru came hooning along the farm towards the back paddocks where theres just a very small track through a woodland and some cows and I was no where near the lay-by, just had water either side

So there was me thinking I was about to die!

Anywho, hot-footed it to the nearest bank to get out the way and be in a viable position to turn around and ask what the hell they thought they were doing

But they rolled to a stop and they were all slighlty odd - rolled down the window and started enquiring as to where I was going, was it anywhere nice , are there often people there and would I like company

Cant remember word for word what I said but calmly told them I would just be following my nose and played along with what they were saying, by which time my heels were twitching against Darcys side ready to push and go! But I mentioned that the only people I'd be bumping into were an angry allotment owner ( they obviously didn't understand
