frown.gif

would love a cuppa but i don't drink tea or coffee
grin.gif

just waiting for tea to cook and washing cycle to finish so i can dry clothes
smile.gif

Ooh i love horlicks but it,s one of those drinks you forget to buy then remember how good it is when someone mentions it. I think when i pick up my chinese meal i will call in shop and buy some. mmm i can taste it now.

My back is aching tonight did loads of poo picking and the shettie does poo,s everywhere all spread out over the field i have made his paddock a bit bigger and his old one was getting soggy. I have taken paracetamol but nothing yet it,s really hurting.

ooo just looked at weather forecast and friday is meant to be brighter now
smile.gif
earlier said it was heavy rain
confused.gif

oh well
smile.gif

only been managing to ride couple times a week due to horrid weather
frown.gif

Evening all, how is everyone?

I've had a looong day but had a good lesson
smile.gif
Got pulled apart and put back together again and he went quite well considering we've changed it all
smile.gif

But we're calling in the reinforcements
blush.gif
crazy.gif
I've got a lady who sometimes rides him for me and to be honest is the only reason I've kept him as she rode him for me when I was too scared
blush.gif
I'm just embarrased as she always gets him going so well and then I go and ruin it
blush.gif
crazy.gif
That or I get her to ride him when he's being a pain
grin.gif

Ho hum, means I can get more ridden photos of him
smile.gif

Hi everyone
laugh.gif

Ughh had GCSE module exams today booooo!
frown.gif
ahh well all over now... bring on the weekend!!!
grin.gif

Is it me or is this week taking foreverrrrr?!!
Leaving new girlie out tonight... its windy here but v mild and she seemed happy out with field chums so I'll save myself a day's mucking out
grin.gif
blush.gif

Hope you've had a good day
laugh.gif

yeah windy here too, not good for eleccy fencing
frown.gif

altho they havnt escaped since i put fencer on it
grin.gif

mmm that horlicks was lovely slinks
smile.gif

Sounds like a plan KC
smile.gif

And it varies from once a week to once every other week depending on funds
blush.gif

And I did
smile.gif
Didn't get much photographic evidence but will definitly be keeping his mane longer
smile.gif
Gave me a bit more room to make them square and straight
grin.gif

Well she knows him pretty well and can get him going exactly how he should/ needs to be so it's just helpful for me to sit on the ground and see what she's doing from that perspective. Then I'll hop on and she'll talk me through it etc.

I've sort of hit a bit of a mental block with him in the school, and my instructor can't ride him and I like to be told how it feels so worth a shot
smile.gif
Has worked no end in the past

Good news about the plaits DL!!
cool.gif
grin.gif

I think you have just lost your confidence a bit with him - not surprisingly in view of some of his moves!!
blush.gif
If the other person riding him helps you get through your block go for it
smile.gif
- does she or can she be there when you are having a lesson so she and your RI can see where your blocks are and help you work on them together?
confused.gif
smile.gif

Ahhh, I understand now
grin.gif
grin.gif
grin.gif

I think it's a good idea
grin.gif
Very useful if you are having a bit of a mental block. I'm sure that you will sort it out
grin.gif
grin.gif

Yes she can be there, they both come to my stressages with me too as she rides my instructors horse
grin.gif

He's not doing anything (this time ) it's just I don't really know what I'm doing wrong as can't quite click with him still.

It's good aswell when she does ride him as my instructor will talk me through it too on the ground as she stays to watch
smile.gif

DL, I know this sounds daft, and please don't take it the wrong way, but, are you trying too hard!!

I know sometimes when P_P was riding and getting very frustrated with herself, I just told her to enjoy it, and don't try so hard
grin.gif
grin.gif

There is an idea that you can do something perfectly first time, but it just doesn't happen like this, it takes practice
grin.gif
grin.gif

Watching the other person ride, with your instructor, sounds like a great idea, but , make sure you watch her too. Is she more relaxed?, less worried if the move isn't right?, able to forget the wrong and concentrate on the good? etc
grin.gif
grin.gif

Sorry, if I'm talking a load of %$%%*£& !!!
laugh.gif
laugh.gif
laugh.gif

Oh no you're not talking rubbish at all! I know for a fact I think too hard
blush.gif
Not so much on different moves etc but more myself
blush.gif
Like Ill concentrate on my hands, and then my legs will go AWOL etc. The only way I can sort of keep a balance is to constantly chant "hands, legs, hands, legs, hands, legs" to keep them all in check
grin.gif

It's got a lot better but just needed that little bit more help
smile.gif

[ QUOTE ]
Oh to have some extra cash
frown.gif

I'd be packing already!
grin.gif

When are you planning on going?

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm thinking of going end of Feb/beginning of March
smile.gif
. Don't like to leave YO with the hooligans to much when they are in - he doesn't mind as I obviously pay but just feel its easier for him if they are out 24/7 - and also it is a grim time of year with everything grey and bare but spring round the corner.
crazy.gif
So was thinking a bit of sun before spring arrives!!
grin.gif

I think f_s has a point - maybe you are trying to hard - I do that with the BGL sometimes..............
crazy.gif
crazy.gif

I'm also going to see a demo by my instructors, instructor on my instructors horse on saturday
blush.gif
shocked.gif

If that makes any sence
grin.gif

So will be able to pick up the tips directly
grin.gif

And sounds like a good plan! I'd like to keep Darcy out a bit more 24/7 but this year he just got bitten to pieces even when he was covered from head to tail in spray / fly masks/ fringes/ bug rugs etc etc ... ho hum. It might be a bit more ideal when he comes home
grin.gif
When being the operative word..

You'll be fine, you look fine in the photos!!
grin.gif
grin.gif

My advise...breathe, or better still sing, at the top of your voice!!! My son was so concentrated on the words of the song, and scared anyone could hear him, he rode beautifully!!!
