Slinky - they never grow out of it!!!! Mine doesn't "do" rain, so when he's put out because he can't cross his legs any longer, he decides that I must be the towel!!!!

hi guys sorry been abit pre-occupied, so u dont think lump is anything to worry about?
but would you buy a horse with a lump?

If its like the one that Darcys got on his spine , and its just a raised part (Also with a vet saying its nothing to worry about etc) then sure
smile.gif

Where abouts on her back is it?
Couldn't be a "jumpers bump," could it?
confused.gif

Darcys is literally a raised part of his spine just past the back of where his saddle would be.

Night S_V - getting excited now!!! Sleep well!!

Idlp, have you been doing a lot of work, and a lot of jumping? If so, it could be a jumpers bump. It's a slightly raised area just behind the saddle towards the start of the rump.

It sounds as if its nothing to worry about to me - might be worth just having physio/ chiropractor out to check just incase
smile.gif

On that note, I'm off! Hope you all have a good day tomorrow. Bye!

Night D_L - see you tomorrow!

I'm off too...have to get some shut eye in before the trip!!!

Sorry Idlp - just to say, if you are really concerned, ask the physio about it. It doesn't sound as though it's serious, and no saddle should sit on the spine anyway, but get it checked to put your mind at rest!

Right really is Night all now!!!!
