Slinky - we have one that refuses to canter in the school, take her out in the field and hey presto!! beautiful balanced canter!!!! Well done!

If he has got it on I wouldn't bother taking it off and if he hasn't got it on I wouldn't make a special trip to put it on either!! I think its due to be showery on and off all night so there won't be many flies around - sort him out tomorrow!!

I usually hate leaving it on over night but he's come in covered in scabs because of all the horse flies, general flies etc. I've had to hibiscrub/ sudocreme his face every day and its still not making a dent! Poor thing looks like he's got acne!

They do ferret walking at one of the County shows - I think its the East of England - and my neices would spend hours walking them - they also have these cute little hammocks they sleep in......

So far, Oh has sat in the sun room watching to make sure it's ok. Daughter keeps going....ah! cute!!!

My dog and I have been relegated!!! and believe me he won't let anyone in his bed, cute ferret or not!!!!!!

I take myself/ all my stuff on saturday night , then take Darcy up there on Sunday

I come back on the 1st

It's at this place called Judd Farm which is all woodland etc so should be nice. Theres a wide stream where Darcy WILL be conquering his fear of water

And you sort of duck and dive out of whatever activity you like really! I'm in the "babies," for jumping haha because I don't want to do loads or anything massive

And then the rest of the week Ill probably have a crash course of flat work / log hopping

Theres all sorts of activities / clinics during the day when we aren't riding too. One evening its "Camp's got Talent" and besides Darcy begging - I've no idea what to do!!!

Well I have just had an exciting phone call

!! The Game Fair is at Belvoir Castle at the weekend - just up the road really - so I am going to have a mooch round!! Will make a change to see how much money gets spent on a different hobby other than horses

!! The last time I went I couldn't believe how much stuff cost - made the neds look cheap!!

hi guys

i went jumping. got stuck in traffic for two hours on way there, so missed first two classes i wanted to do. so done 2ft6 had two stops then done 2ft9 which looked more like 3ft and had a knock down. but went well biggest class ive done in a while and when over jump i would look to next one and we managed to get correct canter everytime. bit upset didnt get into jumpoff but never mind.
