Aw I've so come back at the right time - i have the weirdest dreams - right slinks - 2 dreams I have when I'm running a temperature/not feeling well:
1. My legs are like sticks and when I try to get up and walk they break.
2. I walk into a room that is full of black and white harleguin patterns and I close the door then can't find the way back out.

f_s - forgot the chased bit - being chased in a dream usually means you are fearing something strongly and are trying to avoid confronting it. This is not usually a good policy as you can never get away from yourself.
In your case as its a gorilla - keep running!!
I've been with them in the mountains in Rwanda and they are big buggers..........
