Morning, I haven't been on all weekend as I've had a really busy but brilliant weekend! Been out for 2 lush long hacks with a friend, and been exploring! And then Belle got clipped yesterday, decided on a blanket but now I feel guilty! Need a rug with a neck!

Giving her (and me) a couple of days off, back to riding tomorrow, think I'll have to ride more to justify getting a blanket clip!

Good morning, been busy already today my mom as had an op on her hand so just done her jobs for her which included cleaning out her hens. Now these hens i,m sure have seen the great escape and made it their mission to sneak past my legs like stealth bombers, fortunately for me i managed to get in and out without one goind awol. Looks like we in for some rain very dull in shropshire today.

Morning all I have been up for a few hours, it is very cold here and not warming up just yet so have decided to be nice and not start de-rugging the horse just yet. Day of uni work at home today so I am relying on you lot to distract me as much as possible

Been & had blood test at doc's holes in both arms due to my crap veins not wanting to give up their precious juice. Son dropped at nursery. One load of washing done. About to start doing massive clean of the house ready for little mans 3rd birthday parties at the weekend. Please can I have a kick to get off here & do some proper work!! Thumping headache & no incentive!

morning all, feel like shite, head feels heavy, sore throat and got no energy, hope its just a bug and not the start of you know what.
Been up and fed horses and decided I'd let my mare shift some weight so didn't put her LW on (bad mummy)

Think its time also to wear my head cover as the wind up there has given me a sore ear

even benji meldrew has took cover in his stable

Hope to be able to come back on later, I'll see how I am feeling

GOOOOOOOOOOOOD Morning SFA

Done horses but strange man was lurking in the bushes

. He had walked quite a way down the track that runs along our fields, he didn’t see us looking for ages, he was having a good (bad!) look round to see if anyone was around and went into a little copse just at the end of our land but outside the field, we could see him poking around (he wasn't having a pee

) then he came out and caught site of us and walked off like it was totally normal for him to have been there. We went to see what he could have been doing but could see nothing, very strange

Anyway lots of work to do today so big BOOOOOOOOOOO but I’m sure I’ll find time to keep checking back on here

Have a good day , SS stay in bed and eat tonnes of chocolate

Had 12hr shift yesterday and have a night shift to look forward to tonight

Now off to do the horses and then start preparing dinner for the family so I can have a sleep before the shift.

Really cold and windy here so defo wrapping up warm before I brave the elements.

Pony was amazing last night

Consistent, no fighting, did everything I asked... amazing! Maybe we'll be doing our first Dressage test soon!!

Just finished updating our Pony Club website... took me AGES! Ahwell... back to work.

Oh God no Samstar it looks like this bug can be caught over the internet.

I have lost the need to curl up in bed but still have an awful cough and a head full of cheese and concrete. I have caved in and have a Doctors appointment tomorrow. Thank heavens for the NHS imagine if I had to see a vet!!

On a brighter note I do now firmly believe that Drifter is a bit on the Gay side. I discovered taht he loads quite happily when he has girly pouffy fluffy anklets on as travel boots.
This morning you have never seen a happier chappy in his slightly warmer turnout.

Its a Saxon 600 in a delightful combination of Pansy and Navy.
I wish I had my camera to take a photo of him poncing around all 17hh and 6' 9" of what I would call Fuchsia Pink.

On a size note I think if he was turned out 24/7 this would not be good enough as it is not very deep. But he does look very pretty.

Got a day of nagging people at work, never much fun. Riding tonight - had a great lesson last Tuesday so hope it's as good this eve

Got a hint of a sore throat, hope it's not the start of a lurgy. SS - take it easy and have lots of fluids!

It's not so bad here this morning, was a bit cold first thing but is ok now. Not sunny but not dull, if that makes sense! Not riding tonight as I'm staying later at work and I'm giving her a couple of days off as she was a gem for me this weekend. Riding wed, thu and fri, then sunday. Think I'm gonna try and do four days a week from now on.

decided to make some choc biscuits, halfway through starting to put flour in realise i've used wrong stuff (self-raisng not plain

) oh well carry on regardless

then dad comes in at 11.45 and starts doing his lunch

getting in my way and using sidetop where i was gona roll biscuits out etc

so have left mix in bowl and come back on here til he's buggred off!

why do they always do that!!

I wish... was already teaching pupil number 3 when the thread was started! Am wishing the school would turn the heating on, I am SURE my teaching room was below the legal temperature for work. Ended up with feet like icicles.

Had a pretty stressful day so far, but only 3 more hours of teaching this evening and then it's my day off! Woohooo!!! Just been up and brought madam in, my mum came with me which meant she came to call as she ADORES my Mum (who gives her mints and otherwise spoils her without making her work).

Bit calmer now, but time for a nap I think....

Afternoon all, sorry I'm late!!!

Rather eventful morning!! So, I went to sort out the horses, all ok, apart from needing rugs changed, so did that, fed, poo picked, haylage, the works etc!!!

Then went to check on my little cats!! Oh no!!! Only one cat!!!

Two of the cats have escaped!!! Searched everywhere for ages (that's why I'm late), but can't see them.
I'm really upset, as I don't want anything to happen to them.

I have left lots of food out, and water, and have put some tuna down too, in the hope that they'll come for that!

The other little cat is ok, although I think it's missing it's friends!! The good news is, there is a dead mouse on the yard, and some cat poo in another stable (sorry if you're eating lunch!!) so, hopefully they are around.

Anyway, then OH had to take the trailer on the back of the car into the ponies field to get some muck! Kodak ran when he saw it, but came straight back to me. Then when the car came out of the field he just stood beside me and watched! I'm very proud of him today as he was such a good boy!!

The others don't even lift their heads to look, other than at him running away as if to say "what are you running for? What a waste of energy!"

SS - I do hope you haven't caught the lurgy, it's off to bed with lots of hot drinks and chocolate to ease the pain!!

Hope everyone else is ok, I'm off again to have another look for the cats! Wish me luck

done abit of poo-picking before it started raining again, but there's loads of ragwort to dig up

and i really am struggling to find the get up and go

so am indoors now getting tea ready for oven

They've just gone for a walk around to admire the horses and mice
Teatime they will be home

Still not feeling good, if I'm on the go I'm fine the minute I stop then blurgh feel shattered, drinking loadsa coffee, it does make me wonder why as I can't taste anything

Can't eat anything especially choc as it clogs my poor sore throat up

Back again!!! Still only one cat, but it's still light, and they aren't very keen on humans, so will have to wait until the morning!! I'll worry all night now!!!

The saddle I won on ebay came today......no, not the painted red one, before we have any wise comments!!

It's quite nice actually, fairly good condition, and tree is ok etc, so will be trying that tomorrow
