Morning...

Am off work today with a bug, not happy. Feel like poo.

Having the week from hell at the yard, won't go into detail here as I want to play my cards close to my chest, but if anybody desperately wants to know they can PM me!

Hope everyone who was feeling ill is now feeling better, and how is LJ doing??
 
I'm feeling pretty poo today too. Nearly put Belle on full livery on sunday but forced myself to go up, and I'm sure I'm better for it. I think if I'd put her on full livery and stayed at home I would have felt worse.

I'm at work but wish I hadn't come in, not sleeping either so I feel poo and I'm knackered - it's gonna be a fun day.

Only thing that has cheered me up is I have just heard I have been given an award at work for being generally fabulous!! Not sure what it is yet but fingers crossed it helps with the Christmas presents.

I'll have a handful of your tablets if you have anything good for kick up butt? I feel better than yesterday, so long as I don't move. As this is not really an option (yesterday was boring enough!), I need all hands to the pump!

Why is it that if I have a date in mind, i.e. if I knew I was starting a new contract next Monday, then I'd be buzzing round like a loon Doing Stuff, but when I don't have that and I have time to get on with things, I don't?

LJ is still in alot of pain, I haven't spoken to her since Sunday but when I spoke to her Dad yesterday he said that everyone thinks she needs an X-RAY due to the pain she is in, I forgot to ask if that was for her leg or head though

Poor LJ was involved ina ccident out hunting, her pony stopped at a jump and lady(?) behind couldnt stop her horse so ran into them somersaulting pony and LJ over jump, and then apparently rode off afterwards saying it was LJ's fault!!

Thanks everyone for your kind words and hugs to LJ, I will pass them on.

JS - Idlp's version of events is more or less what happened although I'm not sure if it was the women who knocked her off or someone else that told LJ it was partly her fault.

The most shocking part for me was that only one person stayed with LJ (Who was covered in blood and couldn't stand without falling back down due to the knock on the head) so she had to hold both her horse and Millie, try to phone for help as well as comforting LJ who was understandably very shaken up

Not sure if they have/will speak to the hunt, that will come down to them though as I'm not sure they will take me seriously if I complain about my pony being flung over a fence

Obviously if LJ was my child it would be different!

I think the women who knocked them off was a newcomer, as I arrived at the scene I heard the C (the lady who stayed with LJ) say to someone on the phone that 'they shouldn't even be out' so I think there were 2 or 3 in the 'out of control' group that had been causing problem all day. Hopefully C will make sure that they get what they deserve!

I was PMSL for a long time and no one knew what I was on about! Anywho..

Im on the 86th floor of the Empire State Building. Its FREEZING cold as it was at about 10 o clock at night and so I went in , pressed the button to go down to the 80th as this then takes you right to the bottom. In I hop, followed by my younger brother and then some other random people etc. And guess what

The doors have barely opened , and in flies a man in a gorilla costume!!!!!!!! I was laughing my head off as he tried to make everyone jump - Im obviously desensitised to all that

But anywho, took a photo of him with my brother so I'll upload it when I cba and had to get a gorilla toy.

I've walked just about every part of NY! The best part was the wildlife centre in central park - the polar bears were amazing. The penquins were the funniest
