f_s - try Bridlepath International - they are based in Bury St Edmunds but go all over so maybe worth a call. Are very good and have a good selection of saddles - lots of makes and do new and secondhand.

They have got a website if you want an idea of of the saddles they have - worst that happens is they say they don't go that far.

If only I'd seen F_S's summary before I'd read the whole lot!
Have just got in, had quite a night. Rode Arch in the driving rain as he's back to the vet tomorrow so was under orders to ride him fairly hard tonight so the vet can see if the problems are still there. He's very reluctant to bend right but don't know if that's lack of schooling for 6 months or a problem and don't want to push him in case it's the latter.

My sister's gone into hospital to be induced, 3 weeks early but they're concerned about the baby as it hasn't grown in the last month. They've done lots of tests and can't find anything wrong so don't know why it's happening. It seems that if there's nothing wrong with the pregnancy there must be something wrong with the baby.

Have had a little cry but not sure whether it's about my sister (we're not very close) or Archie. Can't help feeling that for both things to go right on the same day tomorrow is too much to ask.

Am hoping it is just stiffness, that's always been his bad side and he does feel like he did when I first had him straight out of hunting, only knew how to go in straight lines!
