Hello, just nipping back on to see what you've all been up to. Have been busy at work today, wrapping xmas pressies!

I'm really excited now.

Yesterday I told OH we were having a stable party for Belle as she's 21 in Feb but he didn't seem too enthusiastic about it! Why ever not!?

She's definitely getting a card and a pressie whether he likes it or not. I tried to persuade him to buy her and Bonnie (our dog) special advent calendars the other day but he was having none of it, will have to work on that one a bit methinks.

Pixxie - just break down everything in what you want him to get used to!! Ted had issues with painted poles, so for 3 months I just led him/rode him around and over them... and then progressed to trot and canter... just do things slowly and break down everything you want to achieve... Ted's painted pole problem is no longer an issue, unless our floodlights are on hense getting him used to shiny things!

I am using tin foil around a pole, a tin foil ditch, sweet tin lids and mirrors.... fingers crossed!!!

Main challenge of my day was doing a vast mail merge in my temping job...haven't done secretarial work for last 10 years but with a bit of help got it sorted...I forgot how scintillating such things can be....not..

I'm in one of those 'can I be bothered to change and go back out in the car to the garage shop to get some chocolate' moods... But I have 3 wee pots of chocolate custard in the fridge and a 'taste of home indulgent chocolate pudding' in the cupboard but will take effort to steam and heat...there's Obama and other world leaders struggling with the vast issues of the day and I can't make a decision like that...

Shall I just get the pud on the go and lay out some extra spoons?

Well, today I have moved the horses around, Puzzle is a different pony, happy as larry now he's back with T, can't believe he's so attached to her, and her to him

Other than that I have had a lovely afternoon, chatting!!! So much so I let the car battery run down, and OH had to come out and jump start it!!!

He's forgiven me though, as I just cooked dinner, despite the man flu, he's feeling much better now

Just had to look up hors d'oeuvres on interweb as not sure how to spell it and came across amuse-bouche too...that's a single bite-sized hors d'oeuvres...I can see how quickly me chocolate pudding is going to disappear with you lot standing by poised...35 mins it has to boil in the tin for though...fortunately I only appear to have 5 dessert spoons and 1 of those is for me...so I predict a nasty fight is going to take place in the queue...
