Do you know what the funny thing is about everyone disappearing!! It makes them think they own the place!! Some people are so delusional!!
I don't blame you for disappearing. I was almost sorting mine out at midnight when I was at livery, but I think that yard bred bitches!!!!
I did have a livery for a very short while, I think what did it was, the day she told the saddler (who knows me btw) to come over to "her" place!!! I almost got the deeds out to check!!

f_s - luckily she only comes up once in the week and is dead easy to avoid at weekends - for me its simple as my horses are in seperate stables away from tne main barn - its like my own private yard!! Its only in the summer you really notice her as we all like to hang around chatting - until they turn up!!! Still there has to be 'one' on every yard - and at least its if its them it can't be me.......

Bl**dy flies are horrendous atm. I bought some power phaser and it seems to be working the best atm, along with my elderflower witches brew!!!

im tempted to get her a fly mask, tried the one the cob has on and it only just fitted but then big head has stretched it.

I think that's what it's called, smells so strong!!! Combined with a face mask and fly rug, it seems to be keeping them at bay!!

not sure if she'll like the fly mask tho, was very funny about rugs for ages ok now, but then she did let me put it on without a headcollar so obviously not that worried. but she is abit of a idiot if part of it freaks her out she'll go mental. bolted with rugs on etc and jumped fences etc.

It is a spray, but you could always spray some on a sponge and then wipe it on. I do that with one of ours.
Fly masks do help, but I understand, as it's hard to get a really good fit.
