Well, I went up the yard and felt immediatley better - had a bit of a mediocre (sp) ride but I don't really mind! But look what the poor ponio's had done to his face

Well, can only assume they're bites.Someone else said could've been formed by mites that the flies have then got too. They're the same as the ones he gets all around his coronet bands. Funny thing is last night he was fly-rugged, face masked, sprayed etc. So the buggars must've crawled under his mask and stayed put . Hmph!

My mare had something similar recently, I put some gold ointment on her face, and they calmed down and went away! I thought they were bites too, and thought that the long grass was responsible, could be wrong though!!

I've actually bought some sensitive skin acne face wash for him

When he got a touch of this before it cleared them right up and kept the others from spreading or whatever. Worked a treat

I felt really sorry for her, and the cream was the only thing I could think of!! Did wash it with a very dilute Hibiscrub before though.

I'm pretty sure its just one of the supermarkets own brands.. can't for the life of me remember which one it is! Before I had one from Avon which worked just as well

It's managed to stay dry here until about 1/2 an hour ago when we had a light shower. Keep the storm please! I cant stand for another night of Murphy going loopo!

I do hope the weather forecast is good next week. I don't fancy being in a tent when the heavens open. If not, I'll be bunking in the trailer with every flap shut!

Darcy will be brown too, but at least the ground will be a bit better. Hopefully not too boggy - Darcy doesn't do mud.

The last weather I saw it said it was due to get better at the weekend - I am holding on to the forecast I heard that said 3 weeks of crap then back to a heatwave again. I don't really care about the temperature I just want the wind to stop!!

I don't really care about the temp either. I quite like it how it is at the moment at about 20-22 degrees. But wind/ rain I don't do!

Occasionally I get sharp pains running through my left knee, been to quacks and he said could find nothing wrong.
And when I walk up stairs it always clicks.
Now when I get the pain, my knee does heat up and has slight puffiness, so why does doc say nothing wrong when I know there is

My sister had a similar thing with her knee, and had to have it operated on!!! They found a pebble sized piece of bone in there!!!

Thats because he is a GP not and orthopod or physio so knows nothing about knees!! Can you either see another doctor at the practise or ask for a referral to a physio or just find a good physio - they will be able to give you a better idea of what it may be and what you can do to help it. You are getting an inflammatory response so there is clearly something wrong - maybe your cartilage or tendon, there are lots of things it could be - stupid quack
