We use one of those experimental gadgets fibble!!! It also comes with a hat and some gloves, if you have the deluxe version!!!

It's amazing, and the horses seem to like it too!!! Do you think it will catch on??!!!

DL - I have made notes - will be reading them out to the BGL in the morning - listen out for the laughter when I tell him stressage horses should be pristine

........I would tell him about being stabled etc but he knows I am far too lazy to ever muck out 24/7 - 365!! Anyway he'll just say 'Been there and done it so - WHATEVER..........'

Anyway i have put their matching his and hers lw on tonight - fingers crossed they are in one piece come morning!!

But hey daughter has made me a lovely coffee and IT HAS STOPPED RAINING and wind has died down

Thats because the rain has moved up here

.....I had to put their lw's on as the rain is due to carry on all night so if I want to ride tomorrow they need to be dry. They do look very smart in their CLEAN new rugs

- obviously they will have decorated them with mud by morning.............

I am drenched!!!
There is a river running down from the cottage, past the gates and seperates into two...one going through the barn, down our bit into Benji's stable

and the other going down through past Benji's stable door and down the field

Got Benj in...that was a laugh

Benj reversed in from the field...he would NOT turn around into the rain. Then he leg yielded across car park area to the gate and back again and eventually turned and ran to his stable and shook like a shakey thing

Dried him off, put his rug on, headcollar on and he refused to leave his stable so we had to take him through the feed room to trick him...it had stopped raining at this point

He's such a plum

We have one that just hates being ridden in the rain!!!! Silly horse!!!

Interesting isn't it how they can do these things in the field but get on their backs and suddenly they forget

We've not really put Benji through his paces yet so next ride will be fun
