Slinks, don't worry, I don't bruise easily - comments are taken n the chin and worked with - I do better with constructive critism than people sayong things are wonderful when they clearly aren't.

I like Percy too, however he has got a bit too much white and tbh at the mo, i think that you coudl get something far nicer for that kind of money. I think that you pay more thro a dealer...

Glad to hear you had a good session tonite sv..
Slinks- was the good news that they liked your crumble at work? Or that fairies had cleaned your house? Or that yo never have to work again and they will continue to pay you??
Mrs M- Swine flu is very non descript! I speak from experience, we just felt yuck, |( me and oh were off work for 2 weeks and nearly killed each other.. with boredom)
I had a good ride tonite, I still used the myler pelham but put her grackle on the loosest i could and she was a bit better. Her owner has said i can use the old bit if I dont think she is going well and lacking breaks and going up, so that was good news at least..

I know, i agree completely, its so hard when riding someone elses horse. I want the horse to be happy and enjy working and hacking not get in a lather and so worked up, which i think she is and there is no need for it.. it does upset me..

Sounds like you don't need the grackle MM99, if going better with it loose. Sometimes it's trial and error when it comes to bits!!
I did find a nice black, repeat black, yes, genuinely black, mare but she's a long way away too!!!!

I agree FS, might sneak out without the grackle on sunday, I dont think she likes the pelham either as she clamps her mouth shut when trying to put her bridle on, she doesnt do that normally!
Black is nice, where are you guys located? What sort of distance will you go from home?
