Horse all sorted out, riding was good today, although daughter's horse tries to get out of doing anything!!! It was windy!!!

It was quite a close call!! But the 3 days seem to have done him good. I got on for starters, and thought I was on a 17hh? In a good way

He seemed beefier and walked out well, and didn't bob off for cantering - he actually waited for me to ask before he followed the horse infront

I've been working on that one for AGES!! He also let the horse canter right off infront without hanging onto it's tail

So! All in all, despite getting very homeward bound it was a good ride

Hi guys.....

busy day for me, so only had time for a quick look on here this morning!!! I didn't even log onto facebook either!!!

Went up yard nice and early and actually went for a hack with another livery!!

you may all think thats nothing unusual, well i've only just started riding him again since the beginning of august and we avent hacked out since early summer! Unfortunately for some reason he has taken to napping so I thought going out with another would do him good, well we got 500yds away fom the yard and he napped twice!!! and then again about 200yds later!! Quick slap with borrowed whip and that seemed to instill the fact that we are meant to go forwards!!!! Stoooopid horse! no wonder he never made it as a racer!!!

Anyway had a lovely hack with fellow livery, came home, graqbbed an hours sleep and then got ready for work...... picked up food on way home.....KFC...... so now sitting chilling..... think an early night is in order tho as rather tired!!!!

Have read through the posts, hope everyone ok..... MrsM, you may feel better, but that should not make you think you are superwoman!!!! Take things easy!!!! Or else!

!! The woman who owns the horse my neice had on loan (and took back with no notice, tore up agreement etc etc) tired to talk to me this afternoon and when I told her I didn't want to speak to her (largely 'cos I don't trust myself to stay civil

!!) she got all huffy with me

- silly cow was lucky I didn't slap her............

Children cooked dinner! Very nice it was tooooooooo. Hubby took Friend and her hubby out (there's a rash of poorly cars this neck of the woods at the moment

).

Am sat on sofa slobbing. Work were worried about what work I was doing as they are paying for it - hm, I'm only doing it because they are paying me for it

. Told them that if I have work to do and I feel up to it then I'll do it, if not on either count then I won't

. Simples

. Told them that I do not have a sick note, my company has not signed me off sick neither has the hospital - hospital just told me not to drive, said I could work if I felt up to it (defo no riding or driving though).

Ho hum and a tiddly po. Isn't Life a Hoot
