Tack cleaning day today, saddler rang yesterday to say my saddle was in and he's coming to fit it on Friday

So I'm trading in two saddles to buy it

I only ride one of our three horses but don't you find saddles are like old pairs of jeans, you just can't let them go

Still needs must, hope you all have a lovely day

Morning everyone. Not a lot going on here today. Grey, overcast and cold outside, hoping to ride if I can get in the school before the lessons start tonight (not looking likely) as it's the only place with lights so if I miss the opportunity I can't ride.

Same as usual for me today I'm afraid!!! Packing, packing and more packing and chuck work in this after noon...... only two more sleeps in this house!!!! and still only half packed, have a feeling there will be a mad dash on thursday night!!!!

I did my good deed yesterday - a biker told us that a horse was stuck in the fence (barbed wire - eek!) and had been there and not moved for about 2 hours

, so we rushed over to investigate, to find that the lump on the floor he was pointing at was actually a field roller! It was green with a white sticker on the side so he thought it was a horse with a blaze and green rug on.

As we were walking away though, we noticed a horse stood between two wooden posts of the fence. As the fence is wire we couldn't see if the wire was there, and when we went to investigate the horse was stood with it's back legs tangled in the wire

. Luckily she wasn't panicked, don't think she'd noticed tbh

, so we managed to pick her feet up and get her out with no scratches. Phew, panic over

Right I just typed my post and it came up Server Unavailable and trashed it GRRRRH!

Today is a very exciting Day. Its THE FINAL CUT!!

I cant believe I used to have my hair coloured and then 3 highlights at an extortionate cost. Now I am down sized my local girl Nina has been bringing my hair back to normal and I reckon today we will get to Anna Colour Brown and Grey.

Its a great freedom thing I am 55 and going AU Naturelle and it is great!!

I have actually done some work this morning (work work not horse work), yippee me!

Think I might be riding tonight after all - OH not well so might be going home from work early, which means I can leave work at the respectable hour of 5pm and it will be light enough to ride down the lane

ldlp111 I know exactly what you mean. I put Belle's rug on as it's raining, then as soon as I drive away the sunc omes out and I have to go back and take it off, or I leave it off as it's lovely and sunny, then it starts to rain as I leave.
