In a bit of a mood! I'm meant to be going to dressage this Sunday and I emailed them ages and ages ago about September the 6th and how I'd like times near to my friend as she was taking me and in a seperate class.
Never got a reply, until this one :
"Hi Lucy
Re your entry for dressage on 27th September. Unfortunately you and Cindy are on the waiting list for the rest of the series. I have about 18 people wanting to enter but at the moment it is full to overflowing! If I get any withdrawals I will try to get you in, but at the moment there are none. Let me know if you want to stay on the list."
Would that include this sunday??!? Surely not so late notice
Hi all, just in with the SOREST head - that big stupid lump of a pony mistook it for his haynet and sunk his knashers right into it - there is a huge lump!!!
AArgh, what to drink next? and it's not even the weekend. Let me explain. My Dad died recently (it's OK, I'm sad but coping with it) and my Ma gave me the contents of his drinks cabinet to bring home. So, we have several different types of whisky (bleugh) four kinds of sherry (ditto) two brands of gin (yeah, maybe) rum, vodka, peach schnapps (yum) cherry brandy, apricot brandy and three bottles of home made parsnip wine dated 1992. Perhaps I'll just have a lemonade, and roll on Christmas!!
I drove to Norwich today (260 mile round trip) and was all gong swimmingly until I got there and parked the car and found out that I had left my purse at home - so no money or cards!! Arrrrrrrghhhh...........
Luckily I had filled my car up yesterday - had coffee made for me and dishiest customer was lovely as usual - but was bloody starving by the time I got home!! Then had to go and walk dogs, feed neds and then drive back into town to buy food for supper. Was going to get Baked Alaska but went for the chocolate macadamia instead.....
Right as you all know, been concentrating on JumpX and Xc this summer and am goign to concentrate on dressage and SJ over winter in a bid to have Pads BE'ing next season.
Last JumpX comp was supposd to be start of Sept then it was dressage there on i - with the first dressage comp last week but JumpX was rescheduled to the weekend just there so my dressage practising was broken for some hill and gallop work - I have now noticed that Gleneagles are having a Hunter Trials on 11th Oct - same day as next RC dressage. What do I do - can't believe i'm asking this as dressage has NEVER been a priority of mine but do I go for one last blast before the season is over for good or do I get the head down and sort the dressage?
