All going to go horribly wrong!! - should be in bed as I have the last day of conference to get through but have had a skin full of pear cider

- yummy!!

- and some wine and thought I would check up on you lot first before heading for bed to see what trouble you have caused!!

I've just had my porridge and heading to work soon. Feeling v happy as I jumped 3'6" last night for the first time since returning to jumping after a 10 yr break

Good morning!

Off to take pony's rug off for the day, then off to have my nails done.

Don't usually look forward to it this much but the lady that does them has been away and the place I went to in the meantime was appalling.

We're potentially having a little bit of rain tonight. Is it sad that I'm glad? Hunter Trial Sat and the ground's like concrete!

Horrible day here - rained all night and is still drizzling this morning so Belle had her rug on last night but I had a good excuse to go up this morning so I've had my morning cuddles.

Figured out it's mosquitos biting the horses!

They were swarming around us last night and she was getting really worked up. Considered keeping her in but once I'd put her rug on and lathered her in fly spray she settled right down. I figure that's what the scabs are all over her face too. And now I have 4 hoooge bites on my back

Her scabby heel is still scabby and seems to be getting bigger, desperate for it to heal cos I can't put her turnoutboots on over the top of it, which leaves her open to mud fever, especially with this rain! Argh

Well got to drive daughter to school as over slept

then go and do horses and check my gals hoof

got farrier coming friday, wasn't going to come as he thought only foot sore

Then I'll be back home to do some cleaning before I go out with my sister in law, my mum is going to drop daughter off out at her riding lesson tonight and I'll join her as soon as I can

right ive given two shavings beds a complete clean out, only done one on saturday!!

was supposed to be riding with friend but apparently something major is going on in neighbours house lots of police (not sure if i should say what on here).

so lunged horse instead and in return he rope burned my hand

i guess that'll teach me for not using gloves

am not trying to workout how to set out accounts for cider business etc

Nipping back in on lunchbreak, trying to limit my time on here at the moment and doing quite well so far, getting plenty of work work done.

But my mosquito bites are itching like mad at the moment! Argh!

Debating whether to ride tonight or not, friend is coming up tomorrow so won't ride then, but if I ride tonight I'll have to leave work at 5, which means I'll be here till 6 tomorrow and friday, so can't ride then, but suppose I could ride saturday and sunday, that'd make up my 4 days per week quota

I'm staying late at work today so not riding, will ride tomorrow instead. Lazy I know but it's just easier to ride tomorrow instead of tonight, and she's not fit enough to be ridden 5 days a week so Ihave a 3/4 day per week quota to fill

we bought him!!!!

Subject to vetting of course, but P_P really loves him, and he was an angel again!!! So, fingers crossed we'll have a new addition to our herd soon!!!

He is very sweet, and although he is a little green, is a really sensible pony, and nothing seems to faze him, so P_P is delighted. Especially since her other one would climb the walls if something was out of place!!!

Poor person, and poor people!!

You will all be glad to know that I am fine and survived conference - no hangover this morning and a massive fry up to start the day!! Food was fab

and have eaten far to much but it was very yummy and some one else was cooking and washing up so it would have been rude to to refuse - was a roast every lunchtime - today was lamb........so no need to eat for at least the next fortnight.......

Fingers crossed for vetting!!

When I got home neice was here riding - she rode yesterday and went for a blast round one of the stubble fields and thought she was going to jump the muck heap!! Anyway she went on a short hack and then jumped her for the first time in the school - was easily clearing 2'9"/3' - has gone home looking like this -

so far so good!!

I will ride tomorrow as to tired tonight - need a decent nights sleep...........

The milkshakes are just to die for..

Anywho, the Combo is any burger you like with onion rings, chips, coleslaw and a sauce for £7
