ldlp, feeling alot better now that I have taken some lemsip max all in one, though it tasted disgusting, I had to treat it as a shot and downed it in one (shaking my head)

Just been up to horses and they are all sunning themselves, so brought star in to try on her new winter rug, she thought what the hell is going on as fleece went on first and is not at all cold out there

it fits perfectly, best one so far for fit, its the Rhino Pony wug with high neck as don't like full necks.
And seeing as I found some polos in my pocket I made her do some stretches which she thoroughly enjoyed

Now just waiting for phonecall from daughter to pick her up from school as they have been down to paignton zoo today, shame they couldn't leave her there

We tried on the new saddle, ummm, not so good, so P_P and I went to the tack shop. Saddler is coming out on Monday morning!! to fit a new one!!! Hurrah!!!!!

F_S - They're probably curled up in front of your next door neighbour's fire, having had a nice meal of fresh chicken or something just as good. They have an uncanny ability to end up with two homes!
 
Hello all! Been so busy at work since who-knows-what-time this morning that I've only just made it on to the forum

Hate the way works gets in the way of fun! Feeling cheerful though as I had a good lesson last night with lots of work on precise transitions, walk to canter etc. Think I need a horse of my own soon - I'm bored of riding schools (lovely and schoolmaster-ish as some of the horses are) and want a bit of a project...just need to move out of London, which is all planned and starting to happen

I told them we are having to ride in a padded saddle and they didn't bat an eyelid!!

I think if you have a saddle that you can ride in, and it does fit, I would stick to that for your dressage test

DL I think the noise might set the horse going and snap the mane off before you got to plait it! Wont do very tight plaits either, or band and roll them I bet!

DL - I would stick with your saddle and wait for Kevin to be properly fitted - my old not good fitting saddle restricted the BGL's movement so I would have been marked down - frankly I need all the marks I can get!!

feeling alot better, think the lemsip has loosened it up more as now sneezing and spluttering more than before.
Just had a lovely walk on the beach, no breeze and the sea so calm and we have had a traveller here for the past 2 weeks making a stone display on the beach, it is amazing 3D effect sound decks, sorry didn't take my phone with me for photos

SS - will compare sneezes with you. I got a good sore throat going earlier, but now it's stepped back into just being annoying. Eyes are hot and heavy (and not in a Your-luck-is-in-tonight way). And I can't stop flaming well eating!
