Sweet iron hanging cheek snaffle

I've actually got two...but I can't remember where I got them from!

I know for certain that I didnt pay more than £12 for either of them; one thing I will say is that they have both rusted awfully, and I cannot use them any more. Whether or not a more expensive make (eg. Myler) may not rust, I dont know! I have a feeling mine may have been Shires.....

I bought a bit from equestrian clearance yesterday. I seem to remember they had one but I could be wrong. Worth a look anyway I suppose!

I believe the sweet iron bits are supposed to rust, it is what gives them the flavour

just checked and they don't have a hanging cheek but they do have a 2 ring gag which would have a similar action to the hanging cheek if I use it on the snaffle ring?

Ohh, I'm not sure. It wouldn't be dressage legal, but I suppose if you're not bothered about that you could give it a try?
