Sweet Itch How Are You Doing??

I've had my forage analysed and she is fed the required amounts. I've tried introducing the BY very slowly but as soon as I get to 1/4 teaspoon, she refuses to eat, this is despite trying three different brands. And yes she's getting linseed as I feed it to help her arthritis.

Haven't tried the Spirulina though so might look into that, thanks.

Oh they are so and so's sometimes aren't they!! Good luck with the Spirulina... let us know how you get on! :)

i really want to win one year and then i think it will feel better than winning the lottery lol :D
i always get so much advice from people on here and i am like the op who has every cream and potion and still not any better off than i was 3 years ago.
i know pads get BY once a day should i have him twice a day?

how much brewers yeast are you all feeding please.

I feel her a 90ml scoop's worth (not sure what that works out as in weight) she is 13.1hh. I buy my Brewers Yeast from Holland & Barrett (buy one get one 1/2 price at the moment), she started getting funny about the BY at the feed merchants, the batch changed - it looked different and must have tasted different as she stopped eating it.

i think i need to have a look at my BY bag as paddy is very large so i am starting to wonder if he is getting enough

i know the lady in the horse shop said to up the dose for summer for the d-itch which i kind of have done but i only get it into paddy once a day unless he is out in the field

Not doing too badly this year although the rambo hoodies are looking a bit scruffy. Our two boys have suffered with si for over 15 years now. This year I was given some killitch and its worked really well on their sheaths.

Unless its very mild I usually have their rugs off mid to end of November especially if its windy. I find that their thick hairy coats really help them not to be too itchy. They must feel so much better being "unwrapped" for the winter !
