Hi, If a horse had an allergy to the sun/uv would any one still use the belly flap of a sweet itch rug? I thought the belly flap was just to keep midges off. Sorry if this is a stupid question
You could leave it off as unless your pony is always rolling, there would be no sun there! I would just check that the rug stays put without it on though incase it slips to one side without the belly flap.
