Hi Guys

My mare has SI and owned 6 years. Always warn a Boett but still find she tends to rub, she seems a sensitive soul and is allergic to a number of creams/ potions etc. Have any of you tried the capsules from the company that supply Boetts £75 for 3 months. She is fed brewers yeast and linseed currently. Just be nice to have one SI season with a nice mane

I've not tried the Boett capsules but have had success with the Global Herbs Skratch products, I have found they dramatically reduce itchiness, both in a mare with SI and a non SI itchy pony.

Me too! I use their 'Skratch Plus' for my pony. I've tried loads of other supplements, lotions and potions in the past and found it's the only thing that works. It's great stuff (but does really stink!)

We sell a product at work called ItchNoMore - I've not personally used it myself but it sells very very well in the summer months, perhaps you could give that a go? Its made by Equine America.... and is used by either watering down and using all over (every other day) or for concentrated topical application to any problem areas - good luck
