sweet itch vaccine

I know a few of you are on the vaccine trial this year, just wondered how your neds were getting on.
Would you say they have imporved, are they still wear their boets, if so have you had any problems with them, either rubbbing or chaffing or has the vaccine not made allot of difference?? I would be very gratefull for any feed back,

P.S has anyone had a problem withe their horses sweating in their boet rugs???

my pony has got a full mane and tail, is still wearing his boette, but its a big improvement on last year where he wore his boette 24/7 and still had no mane or tail at the end of the year.

Never had a problem with sweating under the boett

Didn't try the vaccine as I want it to be proven before I use it on my horse (he's sensitive to stuff like that!).

I used a Boett on him all this year for the first time. Hasn't helped. He didnt sweat under it though. But the neck piece kept being pulled back as he still itched his mane. It also kept tearing by the elastic hind leg bits.

However, I dont think my horse has SI to be honest. Im thinking its an allergy to something else so will be having tests done on him soon.
