Sweetitch rug

Hi,
I haven't tried it, but I did look at it when I was after a new one for my mare. In the end I decided against it as it doesn't cover the poll (she suffers alot with an itchy mane so I wanted to make sure it was covered as much as possible). I also didn't like that it didn't have a belly flap as the flys go a bit mad along her midline. I have two for her as she is out 24/7 with a sweetitch rug on and I wanted to be able to swap them so she didn't rub. She has the derby house one and the rambo sweetich hoody, both are really fab, am v pleased with them. For the price I think you would struggle to do better than the derby house one, it is a nice soft material and really covers them up well.

Hi thanks for your reply, I also have both the rambo sweetitch hoody and the derby house one that covers their ears. The fact that fal one dosent cover their poll also puts me off but I was wondering if the special lining actually did what it said it did? It alot of money to spend if it dosent!!!

There is a lady near us who makes them to measure and they are brilliant! Mine cost a fraction of the Boett and the quality is brilliant. It even comes with a detachable mask. This is the link on Ebay, can't recommend her enough mine was a total bargain!

I'd second that. I now have 2 of these rugs and they fit brilliantly, the only ones I've found deep enough at the front and a full neck and head cover too.
