Well mine has had his snuggyhood sweet itch rug on today under a lightweight turnout. He is hunter clipped .
I forgot how tatty it was so could do with another, There are some cheaper ones on ebay . Has anyone tried them , he has to have a good hood as his ears get sore if left uncovered.

Mine used to have a Boett but it died after a couple of years

I replaced it with an Amigo bug rug, Derby house fly rug (£40) and Rambo dust buster (old thing!) and a wetherbeeta fly rug and the DH one and the Amigo are my two favs

Rocket has been wearing his for a while as it is good for keeping him clean as well as keeping those horrid midges off him. I also bought a short hood to fit him as well although the ears are so big it he looks like Mickey Mouse in it!. I have installd a fan in his stable for when it gets hot and he has to stay in. I also use electric fencing but have put that builders fencing along my post and rail so he cannot get his head through and rub.
