Does anyone have or know off contact details for a place called Sweetlands Riding Equipment?

I placed an order online on 31st August as it was the only place i found that had a particular itemin stock that I have been looking for. I've never used them before and just ordered and paid by paypal. I haven't received anything and when I log on online it still says my order is processing.

The problem is the tabs for contact us etc don't appear to work and although I can see my order I can't find any numbers to ring them to find out whats going on !!! I can't even see their address so can't ring 118 as I don't even know where they are!

Help! They have taken my money .............. :-(
 
I ordered from these 16 Dec 2010, and eventually received my order on 13 Jan 2011.
They are the same family as Sweetlands Riding School which you can Google to get contact tel nos. I think it's one of the daughters who runs the online shopping side of things. Apparently they don't keep any stock so when an order is placed they have to order from their supplier and wait for delivery before they can forward to the customer.
I expected a delay due to bad weather and holidays, but during the first 2 weeks of Jan I spent a lot of time phoning and emailing to chase up my order, and without much response. I was told on Thurs 6th it would be posted on Fri 7th, but hadn't received by Mon 10th. On Tues 11th I spoke to the Dad (I guess) stating I'd have my money back if order wasn't fulfilled, and the item was eventually posted that afternoon, arrived Thurs 13th.
Their prices seem good and they were very helpful with pre-order enquiries and when I rang to alter my order, but delivery/lack of information/response disappointing.

I ordered a riding hat from Sweetland Riding Equipment on 13th August 2011. They took money out of my account but as yet no riding hat! I have emailed them many times with no joy. I did find a number for Sweetlands Riding School - I contacted them and was hung up on at first - I rang back, managed to explain my predicament, was given a mobile number and told it was nothing to do with them. I have text and called this number with no luck - I have since contacted my bank to claim this money back. I have been very disappointed by this, I really needed this hat last weekend!!

Just thought I should share this experience so others can be aware when choosing to place orders. I choose them as their prices seemed very good - perhaps too good to be true!
 
We ordered a Harryhall hat 10/08/11 and after several emails with no answer we opened a reselution dispute via Paypal, they gave us our money back today 22/09/11.
 
I too appear to have been caught out by Sweetlands! Ordered a rug set and other bits almost a month ago and have received nothing!

I do have some info tho! Their contact number is 01202 622748 - don't hold your breath for them to get back to you though, I'm still waiting after 3 phone calls and several emails, including one from paypal.

If I don't hear within the next few days I will escalate through paypal! So frustrtating - wish I'd read this forum before shopping :( :( :mad:
 
I have tried to contact Sweetlands as well over the past few weeks chasing an order placed with them. The situation has not improved since your original postings, they either dont answer the phone or repliy to my emails. I phoned the riding school but they deny any involvement with the riding equipment side of things, I pointed out that I found that rather odd as they both had the same address and they fobbed me off with a mobile number that is never answered!! I have now involved Paypal and hope to get a refund soon. I think there Paypal account should be closed.
I really wish I had seen this page before I had placed my order, I only became aware of it when I googled the name to find a contct number. BE WARNED DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM SWEETLANDS RIDING EQUIPMENT
 
Refund from Paypal not Sweetlands I bet!!!
I also have had a bad experience with these fraudsters. Money taken and no items received.
The riding school and equipment shop are one in the same!
Makes you wonder how badly the riding school is run if the shop is anything to go by!
 
Worse than that their website is still active and people continue to be conned!
There's a lesson to be learned here, don't order anything from websites where the contact phone number is not given!!!
You are right though, why do paypal continue to let them use them?
I agree with previous threads - the riding school and equipment arms of the business are definitely run by the same people.
