swelling help please

I need help these swellings have been here for a while I have assumed that they are windgalls however after someone saying about them they said it was tendons I have had the vet out and she was sound they gave me course of Bute to act as a anti-inflammatory and it has gone down and up, feels hard and soft which makes me think that it is fluid as if it was tendons it wouldn't change would it? The only reason I’m asking for help as I don't want to do the wrong thing and my vets don't seem helpful :( they said it looks like windgall but what to scan AND x ray so just wondered what everyone’s opinions was and what can I give her to help her thanks in advance

If your vet is suggesting a scan and Xray, he/she must be thinking along the lines it's more than just a windgall. There can be significant tendon/ligament damage without lameness.
True windgalls IME tend to go up and down depending on the weather (bit filled whilst it's a hot day, disappear when it's wet/cold).
