Rios 12 years old , 15.3 Hanoverian x he passed his 5 stage vetting last year and doesn't have any faults other than a old splint on his front leg
I brought him in last night to ride and noticed a lump just next to his hock ( typical to where u get a bog spavin or throughpin ) it's about the size of a egg it's on the outside of his leg and is just isolated their and is rock hard their no heat in it and I've had him up and down both ridden and in hand and 4 people have told me he's completely sound also he doesn't mind the lump been poked or proses does anyone have any idea what this is I have the vet down to see him but it's 90 pound just for a check which seems pointless providing he's sound I've noticed of old pictures he's had this a week now but I've never noticed as he's been sound ,everything about bog spavin says it's squishy and pushes through this doesn't if reminds me of like a swollen insect sting
