I'm sitting here sweating with the entry form for the Heythrop Hunter Trials in my hand...it has to be in Monday and I'm being a big wooss(sp?).

Its 15 years since I have ridden competetivley x country and I am crapping myself about doing the 2'9-3' novice course!

Has anyone ridden the track and can you tell me if its nice and simple? technical? ride big?

I really want to enter, horse is more than capable but rider here being a big girls blouse. I've been showjumping at 3'3/ 3'6 this summer but haven't done any x country riding for about a year and never on this horse.

Any pearls of wisdom you can bestow would be appreciated!

I went years ago, it use to be a BE course if I remember rightly.
Its a great course, undulating and from what I remember quite big.
But lots of fun.
Good luck.

I will be there next Sunday doing the open as long as my boy stays sound after Team Chasing.
It is fairly meaty and long but very well made!
Haven't done the smaller one for a long time but let me know if I can answer any of your questions :)
