Has anybody got a swinging rug rail? Are they worth it is basically what I'm asking. I now have 16 rugs with no where to store them but in my stable. 3 of my walls now have washing lines round and the rugs on them and I really don't like it, YO has said she doesn't want boxes but can deal with rug rails. She's suggested the one's that look like towel rails but I think I'll be in the same boat - if they're any good, where did you get yours?

I have got one,(in my spare bedroom!)It takes three rugs. Only problem I have is that I am not that tall and the rail needs to be quite high up off the ground if you have big rugs otherwise they trail on the floor. I got mine at a local equestrian shop about 10 years ago.

I made my own I have them hanging in my tack room and my stable, I just used some old fence posts put heavy duty rope around the ends and hung them from the rafters, they work a treat and cost nothing as I found everything just laying around at home, you could use bale twine if no rope I would think.
