I've been looking for a light 100g fill turnout rug for one of my TBs - they are currently on ebay and also on their own website. Anyone tried them? What is the fitting like on them?

Not sure, but have just ordered a rug from them as well, apparantly their fit is similar to horseware but rug should be here in a couple of days so can tell you more then :p

i have one of their 300g turnouts for my 17.1 who usually has 6'9 in shires and amigo, its fits well the the neck is long enough which usually they are not! I would say its a bit short around the belly but thats ok. I brought it off someone with a chunky hunter type as it was too tight on him,, my horse is finer

I bought a lightweight stable rug last year with a lovely fleece edging,it's the 100g one in blue.

I used it all winter and have been impressed with the fit and durability of it for the price I paid. I found the sizing to be quite generous.

I washed it last week in my machine at home and it's come up as good as new. So overall I think they are good rugs at competitive prices.

Don't know about this brand, but as an alternative I can certainly recommend the Weatherbeeta medium-light rug. Comes either a combo or with detachable neck (which does have to be purchased separately, but imo more versatile than the combo). I got mine from equestrian clearance a couple of years ago.

I've been umming and ahhing about this brand since I first saw them last year. The problem is that I've been stung by 'unknown' brands in the past so despite the tempting price haven't yet tried them. The photo's I feel make the rugs in some pics look cheap I can't help feel. I was looking at the 50g, but found a last minute bargain in a bucas so paid the little bit extra for a good known make! If you're looking at 100g, compare them to the shires 100g tempest and the weatherbeeta medium lite (100g) landa.

I have their heavyweight winter t/os. good value for money (tho got them in the sale I think). I have the old style and the new, both fit fabulous and have lasted wonderfully with no rips tears etc. Am delighted with them. Having also been stung by rugs in the past my new list of rug makes I will buy based on all round fit (inc neck length); 6ft3 fits 15.2hh 3/4cobxTB, 16.1hh TB ex race, 16.2hh 3/4TBxID and 16hh ISH, are now;

Turnouts : Shires, Swish & Bucas
Flysheets: Derby House

Stable rugs I havent really decided for defo yet tho my shires and mastas fit well and are holding up well and also belmont combos (these sizes come up REALLY large)

Hope that helps :)

Ordered two of the 50g 1200 denier turnouts on Friday and the arrived today. I've just put them on the boys and I am very impressed indeed.

The boys are 16.3 and 17.2, but both take 6'9" rugs. The rugs are really deep, well made and the fabrics used look to be good quality as well. It is forecast to rain overnight, so I shall find out tomorrow how good they really are.

The boys are less impressed. One of them has a real dislike of new rugs and to add insult to injury, they now look like twinnies!

I have just ordered a mediumweight turnout and a heavyweight stable. Not sure I needed them, but then again can you ever have too many rugs ;)
Must stop coming on here, last week I ordered from sports direct following a post, and this week is rugs! I dread to think what it will be next week :)

I've got their heavyweight stable rug. Love it, great value for money. My only tiny tiny little gripe is that it's a bit short, but my horse has got a very deep girth so it may just be him!
