ok, they've been about for a little while now (about a year?) so how are they lasting/holding out, are they fully waterproof? I'm still umming and ahhing about them, on photo's they just look cheaply made? i'm interested in the 50grm turnout which is currently on offer. But might just bite the bullett and pay the money for a bucas or fal or similar which i know will last and do what it's supposed to do?

I bought the fly-rug and light-weight summer turnout from them last summer. The fly rug came up too small so only used it for the last part of the summer last year. The light-weight turnout size seems to fit my boy well (both the fly rug and the T/O are the same size). However, it's not waterproof - I'd call it light-drizzle -proof!

Havent't bought anything from them since

I bought two rugs from them recently via Ebay, a lightweight stable rug and a turnout rug. They both fit fine (6'6 for a 16.3 TB) and the turnout is waterproof! I know they do advertise a 'showerproof only' turnout as well so make sure you get the waterproof one :-) Bought a flymask too, thats a good fit though I think it could do with being a bit longer fitting down the face. Does the job though.

I have used some of them - medium turnout and the stable rugs, had no problems, but for a serious winter (when they ALL had to live out as I had flu) FAL all the way for me.

Give new brands a try though, everyone has to start somewhere, and I always try and give feedback, this really helps them - I appreciate that in our businesses from our customers.

I have the 1200d turnout on one of mine from Swish and it's been great, the other turnout didn't make it to spring, but then that's mostly the horse wearing it, quality seems ok and both were waterproof.

I bought a couple from them last Friday via eBay and wanted to collect as I live closeby and needed them urgently (for the weekend)
Even though I selected the "collect for free" bit on the checkout and paid for them in full, they sent an email saying I wasn't allowed to collect from them and had to pay for postage and wait for them to be delivered the following week if I wanted them :(
.. So I went to local tack shop instead!! :D

in the sale I think they are ace value for £! I have a 100g turnout, the purple heavy weight turnout and the waterproof exercise rug. All are fab tbh and I found the sizing pretty much spot on. The only thing that is a little odd is that the size of the hole in the exercise rug is really little (it is the wrap around one!). My saddle is a totally standard 17 1/2'' gp, and it is a really struggle to get the velcro around and meeting up enough to do up. Still totally useable, but just turns winter tacking up into a bit of a faff. Mega impressed with the purple heavyweight though, the shaping and fastenings help if fit my mare really really well, and it is nice and deep without being silly. Perfect!

Oh yes got the wrap around too, know what you mean.

i think they operate from home perhaps (photos of horse modelling rugs look like private place) so I guess don't want anyone there - sort of understandable but if you lived nearby they could have met you at the local pub/Tesco or something!

I looked at Swish, but they didn't do the denier in what I wanted

Instead I bought Protuff rugs, which have worked quite well and been pretty waterproof even in snow

They are also cheaper than Swish!

I bought a 50g turnout from HOYS last year, have been really impressed with it it hasn't leaked and the mares foal didn't manage to rip it with his sharp little hooves jumping on her back so it must be pretty tough as he ruined all her other rugs with the exception of a really tough Masta Checktech.

I bought a few of their lightweight stable rugs and they are nylon lined so don't rub at all, I use them on their own or under a turnout. Wash nicely too.

Just bought a load more from the sale including some bargain lightweight stable rugs that are cheap because the fabric is 'rustly' mine don't seem to mind though, they soon get used to it!

I love them! - They are my favourite along with PE.

from swish I have: (a bit of rug obsession!)

50g turnout
340g stable rug with the fleece neck i love
Heavy 360g turnout that was in H&H last year
fleece, fly rug and exercise sheet
Waiting to see what stable combos come out this year

Both my turnouts have been fully waterproof? I have seen them advertising a no fill that was only showerproof so stayed away from that.

Really good fit on my chunky WB's
