Just wondered if these came up big or small? My horse is inbetween sizes and am not sure which way to go. He is a MW and I usually end up going a size up with Shires and Rambo rugs.

Thanks :)

See, I would normally recommend going up a size - but I was looking at their 50g turnout and there is a note saying if your horse is in between sizes to go down a size! Don't know if that is for all their rugs as I was only looking at the ones with a small amount of fill.

Thanks for replying, Gosh not sure what to do now, I was thinking go up one but if they say go down, then maybe thats what I should do. The depth may be an issue also plus the long neck. Maybe they just wont suit him at all as hes chunky but certainly doesnt have a long neck. I was looking at the 75g as thought it be ideal for this time of year and cant seem to find anything with a bit of warmth that has a detachable neck. PE rugs dont fit him.
Thanks again

I think it depends on the build of your horse, I have a TBxConn and the rug was far too big and just not the right shape for him. Shape/was more the issue. If you have something well built you should be fine but they are quite generous.

Fig has a LW stable, CS has a MW stable and Unicorn Bruce has a HW turnout.

Would say Figs is probably a couple of inches too long in the back but CS and Bruce's fit perfectly and def true to size.

For ref Fig and CS are both LW TB's (Fig short and compact, CS is longer and rangier). Bruce is a chunky ISH.

I've finally bitten the bullet as it were and bought the 50g turnout, i've found the fit absolutely perfect on my warmblood cross, perfect depth, certainly not shallow, mine is usually a big 6'9 or a small 7', as the 50g doesn't have a neck i went for the 6'9 and it fits perfect, is more generous than weatherbeeta's. I don't know how the necked ones come up size wise as i usually find i have to go up a size if they have a neck on them. Hope this is of help.
