I’ve got a 200g swish stable rug, had it for a couple of years and it’s lovely - light, shiny coating so bedding doesn’t stick and really well made. Only problem is I don’t like it getting dirty as it’s so nice so pony always wears a no fill on top to repel the wee and poo ?

My chunky Appy wears their stable rugs - they are a nice fit on her shoulders. Have 100g and a 400g that we acquired in beast from the east year and has been under the spare bed ever since. It kept her warm with snow coming into the stable and she's got PSSM so I know all about it if she gets cold.

Got a 50g out door on the pony which is nice too.

I bought a used turnout off a friend when I needed a fast cheap turnout. It’s brilliant. Warm waterproof and fits nicely. I’ve been tempted myself by the stable rugs but don’t really need one and certainly can’t afford to be buying for no reason atm.
I’d imagine they’d be lovely

I have only tried the turn out and really like them. I was a firm Horsewear person but I have converted to Swish. It helps the HW liners fit the Swish rugs, No doubt a Rambo will last longer but you can buy a few Swish for the price of a Rambo......they are a generous fit

Thanks for all the recommendations, ended up buying the turnout as found a stable rug at a tack sale. The Swish turnouts are fab!
