Hi all
I checked on my retired TB earlier today and found him with a swollen back leg - no lameness and not a lot of heat in it. I can't find any cuts or puncture wounds although he has still got a touch of mud rash/chapped skin on that leg which he's had for a while and is healing - not getting worse! I'm at a loss as to what might have caused it - it's not seeming to bother him so I've left him in the field (he lives out all year round) thinking that at least if he's moving about he'll walk the swelling off a bit and I'll go first thing to check him in the morning to see if its got any worse. Any advice would be appreciated before I call the vet....thanks!
