Sounds like her stomach is distended, and this could be for a couple of reasons.
Firstly, it could just be a grass belly -where she's eaten too much grass and hasn't digested it.
Secondly, it could be gas building up inside after too much grass (especially if she is not used to it) or possibly as the result of a blockage.
Thirdly, it could be due to a worm burden, but this would be unlikely to appear suddenly.
If she were mine, I'd watch her carefully for any further signs of colic (pawing, rolling, kicking at belly, curling upper lip, sweating, running around for no apparent reason, lying down, being restless, etc) and also check whether she is passing dung. I'd also call the vet to give her painkillers/buscopan (sp?).
I'd also maybe restrict her access to more grass - starvation paddock overnight, or bring her in to a stable.
Hope she is ok.

It could be bloating brought about by overfermentation of the hind gut - which causes gases to build up - Colic can quickly become progressive and the build up of gases can distort the organs - sometimes the gut swells so much that the organs floating on top can be dislodged and "float" into different positions - this is how twisted guts occur - Don't want to scare you - but I'd watch her closely if she's in discomfort -

oh god!! she is colicy (lots of gas!!)
this is the first time her belly has been like this but im almost becoming used to her having painful gas, but she seemed her normal moody self otherwise...(i know if she is ill if she is all placid) Ive just wormed her and i'll see how she is tomorrow...

shes definitely on a downhill slope at the moment

If she's colicky, I'd keep an eye on her overnight, as colics can get worse quite quickly.
