My warmblood cross came out of the paddock today (where she is grazed with 5 others) and had a swollen bump on the outside of her front right fetlock. There is slight heat and she didn't like it been squeezed but was more tolerant after I had hosed it. It was painful to flex and she was more or less sound when trotted up on concrete. She is paddocked next to 'hospital pens' with horses she doesn't know in them and I did see her squealing and carrying on when she met them over the fence. Do you guys think it is a possiblilty the bump is a whack? There is no cut or kick wound. Thanks so much!

Today (one day after I originally found it) she is far more tolerant to me squeezing it and slightly better with it been flexed. Still heat, still swelling although the swelling seems to have dispersed a bit up the leg which I'm guessing is a good sign. I've been hosing it and applying anti-inflammitory gel. She is more than happy to trot and still shows no sign of lameness. Please please help:(
