Swollen eyelids

Throughout today my dogs eyelids have become swollen and red Hes never had anything like this before, and he is acting as normal. Any ideas im a bit worried

I would imagine its either an allergy or he has been stung.

Pollen counts are high at the moment and this could have caused the swelling. Have you been walking in long grass or nettles? make sure his tongue dosnt swell.

I was going to say it could be the pollen count. Ring the vet and double check, but I would mix a couple of piriton into his feed for the next few days.

Thanks for the replies. His eyelids aren't swollen now but his muzzle is still. The eyelids swelled first so hopefully the reaction is going now. Hes eating and drinking fine and acted as usual on his walk.
