Swollen Glands

Clydesdale at our place got swollen glands. Any thoughts?

This might be a silly/nosey question, but are you in Croy? If so, I'm near you and there is a fair bit of strangles about, could it be that?

Yes I am in Croy, near Inverness. Owner says the horse has had it before. Where are you?

i'm near the other Croy, near Cumbernauld. Didn't realise there were two!

joey and a few of the other horses occasionally come in with swollen glands, usually when they are moved to a field with more grass, its nothing to worry about and goes down over night.
