Swollen Hock!

My horse has had a swollen hock for a week now. He isn't lame and seems comfortable on it. I had the vet out and discussed it with him and he said its a hard area to scan as there are so many tendons and ligaments in the area it's hard to determine if there are any holes. It's swollen just above the point of the hock, more on the inside. Cold packs and hosing hasn't eased the slight inflammation so have now requested vet to scan it.

Has any one else heard or experienced this? I think it may be a tendon strain if not worse.

I'd be getting a different vet to scan it tbh as any who are scared to scan the hock are not ime expereinced enough.

Hock scanned and its bursitis, and will hopefully disipitate.
