Hi
Oscar has been kicked (hind off side right on the hock bone) :-( and although it was a tiny mark it swelled up badly, went down after 2 weeks for a day but has since swollen again. The vet has been out and put him on AB's for 5 days then wants to xray if no improvement.
Luckly he has remained sound on it and is still playing with his field buddies! The swelling has reduced slightly since the AB's, which im keeping positive about but his hock (the initial place of the injury) is still rather swollen. Im really worried about him, the vet said he may have chipped his stifle, but is unsure as he has remained sound.
He has been completly sound throughout and his poerky self most days although has been off colour a couple of days :-(
I am bandaging it every night when he is in.
Has anyone had a similar experiance?
