Can anyone tell me if there is still the same risk of maple tree seeds as there is of sycamore seeds? The maple tree seeds look exactly the same, but they flick out the way instead of in the way.
Thanks. I know what we have. My question was -do maple seeds pose as much of a threat as sycamore seeds do, thankfully they don't seem to.Field maple and Norway maple are both fine. Without seeing a photo of the seeds it's not possible to say which you have.
There are loads of maples. Maple refers to the genus, not the species. Sycamore is a maple, for example. If you have field maple, that's fine.Thanks. I know what we have. My question was -do maple seeds pose as much of a threat as sycamore seeds do, thankfully they don't seem to.
sycamore's also a maple, didn't they say which maple?I went on a tree enthusiast group on Facebook to ask about mine - they are maple which is fine and not toxic.
