ATP broke his shoulder when brought down.
Synchronised I believe was fracture of the off hind sustained while running loose after falling.

I have seen footage of JP McManus's Martinstown Stud and the place just seemed choc-full of his retired racehorses so I do think he has at least a modicum of feeling for his horses. Why do people have to be so bitter and cynical?

Beautiful statement from JP and I have the utmost respect that rather than take away from Neptune Collonges fantastic win by making a statement straight away or on Sunday he waited. Rather similar in the way Clive Smith did not make any announcements re Kauto rather allowed JP and co to enjoy Synchronised's big win. Why anyone feels JP would need to indulge in a "pr exercise" I don't know?! Martinstown stud tells more of how much he cares for his horses than any public statement he could make!
As for Chicago Grey...it was a sickening rumour that was completely untrue. Gordon Elliot tweeted a lovely pic of him out in his paddock enjoying the sun when he got home from Aintree. Funny how the scum that start these malicious rumours never come back to correct them. Would not surprise me in the slightest to hear that some anti racing crowd was involved.
