Just wondering really. I'm debating whether to buy a Wintec pro now, or save up a bit longer and buy a leather one. Just wondered what anyone else thinks about them as haven't actually sat in one yet!

Thanks

I have a wintec Isabel which I love but if you are looking for a resonably priced leather one I can highly recommend:-

They are very reasonably priced and are a joy to sit on. The lady that sells them was at hickstead last month and let me sit on the more expensive one. It was lovely and I am going to buy one for my youngster next year...

I have a wintec wide CAIR, not a dressage, but I would recommend that you get a flocked synthetic saddle, the CAIR panels tend to be over full and can tip the saddle forward.

Ditto this - every physio i have ever talked to feels CAIR is work of the devil.

I'd personaly try and save a little more and get a leather one

I haven't tried the pro but I have a Wintec Isabell synthetic dressage saddle with cair - have been using it for 6 months so far and think it is really comfortable to ride in. My saddle fitter and back lady both seem happy with the fit and my horse's back - plus I like it cos i can change the gullets as my horse grows. I think when my boy is a bit older I might buy an Ideal Jessica leather dressage saddle, but at the moment I am happy with my Wintec Isabell and the deep seat has definitely helped me to stay on in some difficult situations!

Thanks for all your replies! It's really useful to know what other people think of them. I have actually found a second hand Wintec Isabell for the bargain price of £195 so I think I may now go for that over the Pro as long as it is the flocked version. I have heard so many bad stories about Cair and it really doesn't look particular comfortable for the horse, especially as he's used to the lovely soft panels on my Prestige jumping saddle!!

DITTO!!! Susan is fab Ive got my Fusion pro onyx jump I love it! (shes also just offered me tickets to Friday and Sat of Hickstead - shes amazing!)
- Her dressage saddles are very nice too, I also reccomend the Isabel Werth too.

I have a Wintec Isabel with Cair and I love mine. Never had any trouble with it at all.
I sat on a Fusion Sapphire dressage saddle at hickstead and loved it, am going to def get one when I have some spare cash!

I have just bought a Thorwogood T4 dressage saddle for Albert, and its a pleasure to ride in. I am using it everyday instead of my GP.

It fits really nicley too as Albert has a huge wither and I struggle to get a saddle to fit
