Synthetic Saddles - opinions please

I had a Wintec 2000 for 7 years with Spooks, and thought it was fantastic. We did everything from dressage, to cross country to endurance in it and never found it anything other than comfy and secure - the equisuede gives you amazing grip in sudden stopping situations!

It is a good economical saddle that is easy to maintain and I hope that my next horse, whatever that may be will be able to have a wintec, if not i will look at other synthetics as have no interest in faffing about with leather any more!

I’m a synthetic convert after getting a Thorowgood T4 Cob (as it wa the only one that really fitted my very round cob). I have always liked leather saddles but have to say the T4 has been fab, I feel really comfy and stable in it, even though it’s a GP.

I think synthetic are great personally.
I currently have a thorowgood, they are so easy and lovely and lightweight. I do want a treeless again though.
Leather saddles are just beautiful but they are expensive and generally much heavier, so I am more than happy to stick to my thorowgood for now
