Tack cleaning experts please!

I can just remember reading somewhere that certain ingredients in some leather products aren't very good for leather? Maybe I dreamt it! :)

Lol, if you did then your dreams are as barking as mine :D

Maybe, as it does look a very tempting product, buy a small pot and trial it for a period on a non-critical piece of tack?

I must admit that now I've seen it, I'm tempted to give it a go... anything that Carl Hester and Mary King use has got to be good

I'm just going to get some :) have used it before in my previous saddle and loved it but was just going to check it didn't have some odd ingredients in it! Thinking about it, it was probably something about Neats foot oil I read? God I need more sleep! :)

Does anyone know if it's good for 'rescuing' leather that's been, let's say, in a teenager's bedroom in the corner; you know the one, the coldest part of the house where the heating just doesn't quite reach...?:rolleyes::o

Please no one do as I did and try and clean your saddle with Sablene hoof cream :o In my defence, it was a late night before a show, I was tired and I picked up the wrong tub :D

It's brilliant stuff. Really does give wonderful shine with no effort, and I am a very lazy person about tack cleaning. But I'd recommend Effax (think that's what it's called) as a rescue product - you can almost see it soaking into the leather and doing amazing things.
