tack cleaning payment

a young girl i know is going to clean some tack for me to earn some pony pocket money , i have offered her £10 per set is this fair ?? i don't want to take advantage of her

Thinl of it as how long it will take her/ how much she should earn per hour. I personally think £10 is very fair!

to me it didn't seem alot , although i don't want to pay a small fortune to have my tack cleaned . i suppose because a tenner doesn't go anywhere nowadays for an adult but to a young girl ,12 , it's a useful amount

perhaps i've offered over the top ? but they are full sets with breastplates and 17/18 inch saddles

saddle+bridle+breastplate for £10 sounds good but not too much to me. Depends how thoroughly you want it done and how dirty it is too

Yep, still chargers 3pounds even with full size tack and martingale/breastplate, will accept more of course if it's offered for whatever reason ! She also has all her own tack cleaning soap and conditioner etc as she has stuff she likes to use
